Wiener Eistraum 2012

The yearly event Wiener Eistraum converts the Rathausplatz (the square between Burgtheater and Rathaus, right adjacent to the Ringstrasse boulevard) into a little winter wonderland:
Ice-Skating on over 7000m² in front of the Rathaus and through the park with its magnificently illuminated trees, music provided by Radio Wien, several open-air stalls offering food and drinks, and even the opportunity to try out curling on a designated icefield.
Hint: No need to bring your skates, equipment rental provided...
