A visit to Vienna definitely is not complete without discovering some of the diverse city markets, which provide very good insights to the everyday lives of Viennas multicultural inhabitants.
The large Naschmarkt is probably Viennas most popular food market. This place transformed over the years to a delicacy-lovers heaven with a heap of multicultural small delis, bars and restaurants. Weekly flea market every saturday 06h00-18h00!

The Brunnenmarkt in the 16th district (Ottakring) definitely is a unique experience! This place (open weekdays 06h00-19h30, sat 06h00-14h00) is famous for turkish and levantine delights in a muticultural environment - haggling allowed!

Being one of the most traditional Viennese markets, the Karmelitermarkt in the 2nd district (Leopoldstadt) offers local food, fruits and vegetables as well as a regular farmers' market (fridays and saturdays). Nice adjacent restaurants.
